Simien Mountains National Park, Ethiopia
Simien Lodge is the highest lodge in Africa at 3260 metres altitude. It is currently the only lodge in the central part of the Simien National Park. From the frontier town of Debark, drive 20km past the park gate at Sawre and continue for another 6km. You arrive at the escarpment and here the whole of the Simiens opens before the visitor's eyes.
